Lane Rogers, the adult film star who used the stage name Blake Mitchell, died on Dec. 15. He was 31.
Rogers died in a motorcycle collision in Oxnard Plain, a coastal plain in Ventura County, Calif., a source confirmed to PEOPLE. TMZ was first to report the news.
A spokesperson for the Ventura County Medical Examiner told PEOPLE that the internet personality’s cause of death was ruled a blunt force head injury and that his death was considered accidental.
Per a news release by the California Highway Patrol, the agency responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a box truck around 3:48 p.m. in an agricultural stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway, reported the Ventura County Star.
CHP officials said the truck, driven by a 32-year-old man, collided with the motorcycle in the median of the highway, though the cause of the accident — including whether drugs or alcohol played a role — is still under investigation, per Ventura County Star.
Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rogers — who maintained a following on Instagram of over 400,000 people — made his debut in the adult film world in 2014. He was best known for sharing adult content on the subscription-based platform OnlyFans.
